Accelerating 5G Deployment in South Africa

The Wireless Infrastructure Association is collaborating with government, industry, and non-profit organizations to support the buildout of 5G networks in South Africa

In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, WIA is delivering 5 separate knowledge-sharing events during the span of this project. This upcoming event will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria on 12 and 13 March.

Dr. Moshe Masonta

Research Group Leader

and Principal Researcher,

CSIR

Dr. Moshe Masonta is a South African representative a Principal Research Technologist and a Research Group Leader at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), South Africa. He holds a Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering specialising in telecommunication technologies from Tshwane University of Technology. His areas of interest are in dynamic radio frequency spectrum management, radio access technologies, and wireless broadband access solutions in rural areas.
